Newgate Records is an independent record label based in Detroit, MI operated by Zane and Zach Kadro(Animal Chinz).
gryphon shepherd a progressive rock band was the flagship band for Newgate Records. The label formed durring the release of their final album No Matter Now.
When the band decided to go their seperate ways in November of 2004 Zane and Zach continued to build the infrastructure of Newgate Records.
Animal ChinZ was formed in December 2004 by Zach Kadro and Matt Voss. They played their first show in Detroit, MI in February of 2005. They have played a handfull of captivating shows in Detroit and are looking forward to releasing their debut album sometime this summer.
Newgate Records handles the management and promotion of the band and is working to get the band on tour in the fall of 2005.
